Our Mission

It is the mission of the Center for Community Solutions to end relationship and sexual violence by being a catalyst for caring communities and social justice. Our Vision Our vision is for all people to live full, free, expressive and empowered lives in a safe, vibrant, healthy and peaceful community.  50 years, many threads, one mission.

 Who we are

In 1969 the grass roots efforts of a college student and professor created an escape network for women and children experiencing intimate partner violence.  From this they developed the first collegiate Women’s Studies Department in the country first, what is now Center for Community Solutions (CCS).  Today we are at 10 locations and last year we served over 23,000 individuals.
